Project Brief
“Facet” is a jewelry magazine that showcases masterpieces in the industry with high-quality photographs and interesting stories. It also introduces jewelry designers/artists/professionals from all over the world via interviews depending on each issue's feature. The magazine aims to tell/inform readers that jewelry is not something merely decorative and expensive thing but also each piece has its own unique story and they are the result of the mind-boggling amount of work by those artisans.
Design Approach
• Have a decent amount of white space
• Use high-quality and unique photos of jewelry
• balance between text and images (image heavy)
• Elegant and legible typography choice/combination
• Layout will not be too consistent, it has some rhythm and pacing
Layout for digital platform
Layout for iPhone (4.7 ") and iPad (9.7") shows the same contents with a continuous scroll style to help viewers' natural eye flow.
