Introduction
As I learned in college, graphic design's purpose is visually solving clients' problems. As a university major in oil painting, I'm cautious not to confuse art and design functions. Having said that, when creating personal projects, I want to express myself freely without many constraints.
This project starts with myself as an artist/designer facing my inner issues, and visualizing them. Everyone carries something in their hearts, masking it while navigating life. Output methods vary (speaking, writing, drawing, singing, etc.).
This time, I created impromptu illustrations in pastels, based on a story born through a conversation with someone, forming a short picture book. I hope my work gives a sense of lightness to the heart.
